Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round match which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to publicize the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two-time world title holder Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I'm going to injure his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
Despite these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally known for his dramatics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather targeted ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British rival Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul participated in the customary stare-down, with their height and weight contrast on show, it drove home just how surprising this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is actually proceeding.
